Proof a well-placed thought is a deadly weapon.

When it comes to politics, one of my biggest pet peeves is the gross amount of blatant ignorance of economics being fed to the public. In today's Washington Times, Walter Williams gives a large part of the crowd perpetuating this a logic-punch to the jaw.

Get to this part and try to tell me it doesn't make you grin:

...if you disagree with me and insist that Congress and the president do have job-creation powers, then I have identical job creation powers. I can create lots of jobs simply by purchasing several hundred crowbars, distributing them to my George Mason University students and instructing them to go smash automobile windshields. Think of all the jobs that would be created at auto repair shops...

LOL...

Oh the audacity...

I looked at my mail today and saw the following:
A campaign flyer. On one side, pictures from a pro-confederate-flag rally, some of which had campaign signs for georgia republican candidates visible in them clearly. On the other side, a family of blacks with a look on their face like someone ran over their cat, w/ a caption underneath:

If they win, we lose.

Yes folks, the race card is in full effect, the democrats are as usual portraying themselves as the great white saviors of the black race; it's enough to make me puke. Ask yourselves this: when they "win" just WTF do we get? Respect? Lower taxes? More freedom? Nope, just the typical white liberal condescending garbage. So we're supposed to cheer because they want to use us as a different brand of scapegoat?

Bottom line, neither "major" party gives a damn, it's all a front.

BTW: the fuss about the confederate flag is just dumb. We have more important things to worry about than a piece of cloth.
